Wake Up Stretches
It’s been so long since I’ve had the time to work on a new video! This video is a set of stretches and some light muscle work to help little bodies get moving when they are feeling lethargic or when they wake up in the morning. Encourage your kids to think about their breathing throughout and focus on breathing deeply and slowly. A wonderful mum suggested that I add a sound (like a bird chirping) to signal when it’s time to change poses/movements so children know when they need to look at the screen. I think this is a great idea and will be using this anytime it’s necessary from now on. So let your little ones know to listen for an owl sound! I hope you find this useful! If you have any questions or suggestions you can contact me on Facebook or Instagram: https://www.facebook.com/moovleekids https://www.instagram.com/moovleekids Enjoy! 🐵 Eternal Hope by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100238 Artist: http://incompetech.com/ Sound effects obtained from https://www.zapsplat.com

Moon Meditation
Moon meditation is meant to be super calm and relaxing. It focuses on deep breathing and stretching out the back, neck and shoulders. If children want to close their eyes, you can tell them to listen for the owl hooting. This signifies the beginning of a new move. Monkey also opens his mouth as he breathes out, so children can try to time their breaths with his. Perfect to fit into a bedtime routine! But really, great for anytime you need some chilled out, peaceful kids! 🐵

Calming Exercises for Kids: Breathing and Stretching
The aim of this video is to help little people manage the big emotions they experience. It includes some simple breathing exercises and stretches to help kids release tension and calm down when they are feeling stressed, frustrated or anxious. I suggest that you practice the exercises in this video with your child when they are feeling calm, engaged and ready to learn. When they are familiar with the video you can remind them of their breathing exercises/stretches at times they are experiencing stress and help them learn to calm themselves down. When our little monkey has his mouth closed, he is breathing in. When his mouth is open, he is breathing out. During stretches, encourage your child to breath deeply and slowly. Meditation for Children 2
Hi! In case you guys are unaware, I thought I should let you know an important channel update: YouTube is changing the way that they handle content for kids on the platform to ensure that they comply with regulations set by the American Government. These changes mean that this channel (and all other Kid's channels) will no longer have the following features: - There will be no community tab to receive messages - You will not receive notifications when I release videos - You won't be able to add videos to playlists or save videos to watch later - There won't be any end screens or info cards in my videos These changes will make it much harder to grow and maintain channels that are for children but I am going to try to improve my social media game (heads up, I have so far been pretty terrible at using social media) to get information out there. I am going to use facebook and instagram to announce when I have a new video up and I was thinking I could use them to provide more detailed information about individual exercises so you have more information available to you when you are guiding your little people through the videos. If you would like to follow me on instagram or like my Facebook page I would appreciate it, hopefully I can continue to grow this channel! 🤞👍 https://www.facebook.com/moovleekids https://www.instagram.com/moovleekids Now onto this video. This meditation, like the previous one, is based off Qi Gong exercises that I have studied as part of my martial arts training. When the monkey’s mouth is closed it means inhale, when it is open, exhale. I animated it like this so it is easy for kids to follow the breathing patterns of the exercises. Qi gong is usually performed by inhaling and exhaling through the nose, but for young children I think it’s more important for them to breath in a way they are comfortable with. The most important things are to sit with good posture and try to time breath with the exercise.
